Study Groups

Craniosacral For those students of craniosacral therapy who want more insight, practice, or discussions with other therapists, I offer a craniosacral therapy study group in San Luis Obispo County. The prerequisite is Upledger’s Craniosacral I.
We meet at 398 Chorro Street San Luis Obispo California 93405, from 5:30 to 8:30. Check with me to get on the mailing list to receive notice of upcoming Study Groups. We have practitioners from many levels who attend regularly. We spend time working on each other, questions and topics for discussion, and a particular focus for each month. If you would be interested in attending any of these groups you can contact me by phone, or email me to find out how to reserve your spot at a table.

“I wanted to let you know I really appreciated the time and effort you put out preparing and teaching us, not just in anatomy class but also the study group and the Brown book group too. . . Because of you I know I was the most prepared person at my Cranio(sacral) 2 workshop. I also want to thank you for having confidence in me even when I did not.” JS, Oceano, CA.

Soft Touch Palpation

I also offer a Soft Touch Palpation study group for those of you who may feel the need to understand a little better what is under your hands. This group has no prerequisite and has a specific focus toward light touch work and palpation. The approach is anchored in anatomy, as we explore bodies and determine just how little input can result in major changes in the body.

It meets at 398 Chorro Street San Luis Obispo California 93405 from 5:30 to 8:30, once a month.

This study group is for those who are new to the light touch approach to bodywork. Whether you are a  beginner, intermediate or experienced practitioner, if you are new to light touch work, you may want to put some time into developing your palpation skills. This workshop is focused on learning how to become a better listener with your hands, through developing neutrality, grounding, and focus of intention.

If you are interested in attending this ongoing workshop contact me.
